Blue Cat Audio has introduced an update for its network mixing, streaming and recording console software. Version 1.2 of Fader Hub is a major step forward for network audio collaboration, whether you are working with multiple machines on a local network or collaborating with remote musicians online.
With several synchronization and latency compensation features, it helps fighting against network latency and brings distributed recording to the table, ensuring that all recorded tracks of connected instances are kept in sync, wherever they are recorded.
With the ability to synchronize a backing track or a click over the network, the latency for real-time collaboration is virtually halved, the software acting like a conductor synchronizing the musicians. This means that online remote collaboration is now possible on much longer distances without sacrificing the quality of the performance. Locally or remotely recorded tracks can be kept in perfect sync and mixed together later for a latency-free mix of the performance.
The update is free to users of Fader Hub. New customers can purchase the plugin at 20% off until June 20th, 2025 (regular $99 USD).
