Klevgrand has announced an update to its amp simulation effect plugin. Version 1.2.0 of Stark comes with integration of the Brusfri noise reducer, additional fx pedals, more flexibility and new presets.
By utilizing Klevgrand’s own method for the amp, cab and ambience modules, free from convolution or FFT analysis, Stark gives you a lot more direct and responsive feeling. It just feels right, enhancing the natural response to dynamics over the whole frequency spectrum, plus the ability to fine-tune each profile in ways that just isn’t possible when using convolving methods. It’s still a strong buy! (As a happy coincidence, “Stark” means “Strong” in Swedish)
